September 14th - October 21st Air Handling, Water Treatment, and Plumbing Systems BOMI Course
Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays for six weeks from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
If you were awarded a BOMA Orlando scholarship, please let the BOMA office know you will be taking this course so we can invoice you appropriately.
Systems Maintenance Administrator—Ideal for those who manage the people who run building systems. SMAs ensure that the building systems run efficiently, both from energy use and tenant comfort standpoint, as well as maintain all aspects of a building or facility, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and hardware.
Systems Maintenance Technician—Ideal for those who operate and maintain major building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Air Handling, Water Treatment and Plumbing Systems- Virtual Class
Air Handling, Water Treatment, and Plumbing Systems are about understanding air-handling systems, water systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems. Specifically, the chapters in this text address human comfort, ductwork, air-handling units, and indoor air quality. They also discuss the basics of water system problems, water testing, and typical treatment options. The course concludes with a discussion of the psychrometric chart.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Replace and/or maintain complicated HVAC systems
- Outline procedures for water sample analysis, testing, and treatment
- Reference guidelines when installing and monitoring pipes and valves
- Maintain a reliable and effective fire protection system

No refunds will be issued within 14 business days of the class start date. The textbook must be returned unopened to BOMA Orlando in all cases where a student cancels registration. If the textbook is opened, you will be invoiced $250 as we are unable to return opened books. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your request to cancel.
