Sustainability Water Reclamation Educational Tour
The Sustainability Team has set up an educational event for our members to tour the Conserv II Water Reclamation Facility in Orlando, FL. (The City’s Iron Bridge facility does not take group tours so we apologize for the mix-up as stated previously.)
The address for the upcoming October 28 tour of the City of Orlando’s water reclamation facility is 5420 LB McLeod Road, Orlando, FL 32811. Please arrive by 1:45 pm; we will start promptly at 2 pm. This is the Conserv II facility where the City has the educational and site tours. Conserv II’s facility provides us both the in-office educational presentation as well as the outside tour of the plant and its operations.
We will start the day with 20-30 minutes of instructional educational and a brief overview of the treatment process alongside the facility's education display. This will walk you through the entire plant process from toilet to reclaim water.
Following that, we will take a 60-minute outside tour of the facility. The total time for the tour is about an hour and a half.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
Reservations must be made by COB Tuesday, October 26.
Please note: your picture may be captured at this event for our marketing and social media use.
